Assignment

Solidaridad asked us to breathe new life into a serious — and often rather dry — petition. So we used Black Friday as our hook, the shopping street as our stage, and created an activation that stood out amid the rush for bargains.

Idea

A petition ultimately comes down to one thing: the signature.
So on Black Friday, we opened the Signastore in the heart of Utrecht: the cheapest store in the Netherlands where you couldn’t buy anything, but you could sign. In an all-white shop, we drew in passersby, curious onlookers and influencers, inviting them to sign the petition for fair supply chains in a fun and accessible way: both physically and digitally. And that’s exactly how Solidaridad’s message reached a completely new audience, turning the petition into something that truly came to life. With thousands of signatures to prove it.
